This garden was inaugurated on September 4, 1998 and has a surface area of 15,000 square meters. More than 100 families of plants and 477 different plants grow in its 36 sections, separated by pathways that invite the visitor to stroll among them.
The largest section offers views of many of the plants that humans have used for food for family members and domestic animals. Among the most representative botanical families are rosacea, asteraceae and lamiacea.
