Toledo is a perfect city for visiting on foot. All of its monuments, museums and places of interest are near each other.
Comfortable, appropriate shoes are recommended because there are many hills and most of the streets are paved with small cobblestones.
Toledo's climate is Mediterranean with a continental tendency, with very light precipitation that usually occurs in the spring and at the end of autumn, sharp seasonal droughts and significant changes in temperature during the day. Temperatures are cool in the winter with regular freezes, although less so than in other areas in the region, and high in the summer with temperatures that can rise above 40° C.
