On the trip to Toledo

Along its route, the new motorway passes through different municipalities such as Moraleja de Enmedio, Griñon and Serranillos del Valle in the Madrid Community and the towns of Carranque, Illescas, Yuncos, Numancia de La Sagra, Yuncler, Villaluenga de La Sagra, Villaseca de La Sagra and Mocejón in the Province of Toledo.

Some of these towns are particularly notable, either because they hold interesting ruins or monuments or because they form part of natural environments that are important due to their fauna and/or flora.

Ruta de El Quijote

The Route of Don Quijote begins in the millenarian city of Toledo. In the first section of the trip, the traveller discovers the famous windmills, great squares, castles and varied popular architecture and can revel in the environmental richness provided by the lakes in the region.
