Carnival (February-March)

This holiday is designed to have a good time in parades with charanga music and chirigota songs, street religious festivals, dances, costume contests and the celebration of the burial of the sardine with the entourage of mourners accompanying it through the streets of the city.


Semana Santa - Easter Week (April)

A series of processions take place during this week, the most outstanding being those of Holy Thursday and Holy Friday with the participation of different brotherhoods. This holiday is of regional tourist interest.


1 May

The romeria or journey of the Virgin of Valle, where citizens of Toledo pay a visit to her hermitage in the valley of the Tagus River.


June

Corpus Christi festival, declared of international tourist interest, in which visitors can attend the solemn procession of the holiest Corpus Christi along decorated streets with the participation of knightly and religious orders.


15 August

A floral offering in the Cathedral to the image of the Virgen del Sagrario, patron saint of Toledo, where visitors can also drink the "water of the Virgin, which according to ancient tradition has miraculous properties. During the week, concerts, dances, and different spectacles and activities are celebrated.
